Our
Genetics
We combine New Zealand's finest dairy bloodlines with elite Full Blood Wagyu genetics to produce cattle renowned for exceptional marbling, consistency and eating quality. Every animal is individually traced from birth, with performance data captured throughout its lifetime to continually refine our breeding program and deliver beef of the highest standard.
The foundation of
our herd.
Our F1 breeding program begins with New Zealand's largest Full Blood Wagyu herd. Developed over more than 30 years and strengthened through the acquisition of Brownrigg Agriculture's Wagyu Breeders Ltd. stud in 2025, these elite genetics provide the foundation for the consistency, marbling and exceptional eating quality that define Southern Stations Wagyu.
